LIFE offers crisis intervention for adolescents, providing individualized and intensive treatment for young people in mental health crisis.
Inpatient, day treatment, and outpatient services are proposed.
What does LIFE offer?

What's new at LIFE?

Prevention & early intervention
Given the wide range of prevention services already available in the Canton of Zurich, the objective of LIFE at this stage is to focus on "prevention and care", complementing existing services and making them more accessible:
-
by making information about mental health and existing services more accessible
-
by organizing workshops and public events on key issues in child and adolescent health prevention
-
by establishing parent support groups, especially for families on the waiting list for psychiatric consultation. Parent support groups are designed to help these families proactively overcome the waiting period and develop greater self-efficacy in dealing with their children's problems.
